I love these. Unfortunately, I will never buy any because they are not serialized or assayed. When trading or redeeming, the other party will question the validity, or drill holes in it to make sure it isn't brass or tungsten in the center. Otherwise, it's a beautiful piece.

I’m glad that you explained how the Buffalo and the Eagle BOTH contain one full ounce of pure 24K gold. Many good folks who stack still don’t fully understand that key concept and somehow believe that a Buffalo contains “more gold” because it’s 24K vs. the 22K Eagle. People forget about the *added* silver-copper alloy that increases the weight of the Eagle to 1.09 ozt. (As for myself, although I love the Buffalo, I prefer the added durability of the Eagle for my stack.)

I an sure at some point, CBDC will be sold to gold bugs and the public at large as being "gold backed". A ton of naive gold bugs will jump for it. However when the CBDC doors are shut, the gold backing will be removed. A bait-and-switch as has historically been the case.

The credit system we have in the US makes the dollar we already have to be centralized. CBDC will privatize that whole credit assessment for funding worthiness process. People are afraid of what they are already a part of, we don’t have communism in US, people need to think about how the CBDC will work in a democratized setting not looking over the fence to china as if our country copies them. When cbdc becomes currencies I plan to never hold dollars again. I’m 31. I will never hold dollars again. I will use them, just never save them
